The Section Engineer is responsible for managing engineering functions to ensure compliance with 4AM, DMR, client standards, and legal requirements while maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The role focuses on maintenance management, equipment availability, and quality performance, ensuring effective planning and execution of engineering activities. It includes managing labour, enforcing safety, health and environmental standards, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating with operational teams to support production targets and overall operational excellence.

• National Senior Certificate 
• Engineering Degree / Diploma
• GCC Certificate: Mines and Works
• Candidates must have a valid driver’s license

• At least 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role in an open cast mining environment, i.e. heavy earthmoving equipment

• Employment subject to a medical examination, dover assessment / MIE verification as set out in the mines policies.
