Introduction
The Boilermaker is responsible for executing maintenance activities as scheduled, including planned, unplanned, and breakdown work, within their level of competency. The incumbent performs fabrication, welding, structural repairs, inspections, and maintenance on Heavy Earth Moving Equipment (HEMM), Crushing Plant equipment, and associated infrastructure to ensure maximum equipment reliability, availability, and operational performance.

- Execute planned, preventative, predictive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance activities
- Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and OEM requirements.
- Complete job cards, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation accurately
- Inspect equipment and identify defects, wear patterns, and potential failures
- Housekeeping
Minimum requirements
- National Senior Certificate
- N2 in Related Field of Trade
- Boilermaker Trade Certificate is required
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be medically fit and pass a medical examination as required from the designated mines
